Facial Threading
Description: Threading is a traditional method used to remove unwanted hair from the face. It uses a thin cotton thread that is doubled and then twisted. As the thread is moved over the skin, it catches and plucks the hair from the root. It is a good choice for people with sensitive skin because it does not use chemicals or heat.
Techniques:
- The Twist-and-Roll: The artist holds one end of the thread in their hand (or teeth) and loops the other end. By twisting the thread, it creates a "trap" that lifts hair cleanly from the follicle.
- Precision Shaping: Unlike waxing, threading allows the artist to remove one single hair at a time or a whole row. This makes it perfect for shaping eyebrows very accurately.
- Skin Tensioning: The artist or client gently holds the skin tight. This makes the process quicker, more comfortable, and ensures a very smooth finish.
